Ken Chaplin.
Ken Chaplin was previously Vice President and General Manager of Crocs Global Marketing, Licensed Products, and vertical businesses. Ken joined Crocs in October 2007 from Disney Consumer Products and Home Entertainment Greater China. He has worked with all of the major US leagues and film/TV studios. Prior to that, Ken was Vice President of Greater China’s Marketing, international licensing, and Branding. In that capacity, he was responsible for Disney’s retail businesses in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
This included developing Disney’s key accounts and establishing the brand. He was also former Vice President and Managing Director for Disney Consumer Products Australasia. While in Australia he moved Disney’s business from a cyclical character focus to a consumer, brand and key account focus. Prior to leading the Australia team, he was based in Burbank, California where he served as Vice President – Global Licensee Development.
Ken also lived and worked in Japan where he successfully directed the adaptation of Disney’s global strategies. Ken’s career began at May Department Stores where he worked in several direct import roles as well as national brand development positions. Among the many prestigious awards that he has won is being one of Forbes 50 Most Influential Global CMOs (2014 & 2015). Ken is a Colorado native and graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder.
